2. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions govern the access and use of the McMinsky website, as well as the contracting of training, tutoring, and academic support services.
3. Services
McMinsky provides the following services:
- Premium Study Room for children and teens
- Individual and group tutoring
- Intensive courses and workshops
- Reskilling programs for adults
- Events and occasional training sessions
4. Registration and Payments
Registration is done through the forms available on the website or in person at our facilities. Payment for services must be made according to the conditions agreed upon at the time of registration.
The initial registration fee (when applicable) includes activity insurance, materials, and access to McMinsky's digital platforms.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure duly proven.
For intensive courses and long-term programs, specific cancellation conditions apply, which are communicated at the time of registration.
6. Responsibilities
McMinsky is committed to providing contracted services with the highest quality and professionalism. However, we are not responsible for:
- Specific academic results, as these depend on individual effort
- Personal items left on the premises
- Service interruptions due to force majeure
7. Intellectual Property
All website content (texts, images, videos, logos, tools) is the property of McMinsky or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property rights. This protection includes the cards, their design, the systems and services they give access to, and the voices and replies generated through them. It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, extract by automated means, disassemble, attempt to obtain the operating code of, or build competing services from them, without written authorization from McMinsky.
8. Data Protection
Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information, see our Privacy Policy, which also describes the data collected through QR code cards and voice messages.
9. Changes to Terms
McMinsky reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect after publication on the website.
10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any dispute, the courts of Lisbon shall have jurisdiction.

12. QR Code Cards and Voice Messages
McMinsky QR code cards give access to pages and features of the website, including the possibility of leaving a voice message. Use is free of charge for those who access, unless otherwise indicated, and is personal and non-commercial.
Artificial intelligence. Replies to voice messages are generated automatically by an artificial intelligence system and read out by a synthetic voice, reproduced from the voice of a real person. They are not a recording or a real-time conversation with that person, may contain errors, and do not constitute medical, legal, financial or professional advice of any kind, nor do they bind McMinsky or that person.
By using these features, the user undertakes to:
- be at least 16 years old, or have authorization from the holder of parental responsibilities;
- not send unlawful, offensive or misleading content, content that infringes third-party rights, or third-party personal data without authorization;
- not record, copy, distribute or use the generated voices and replies for other purposes, nor to train or create voice-imitation systems;
- not use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the cards, nor attempt to circumvent, test or copy how they work;
- not generate mass access or attempt to guess the codes of other cards.
McMinsky may limit, suspend or block access, and delete messages, in case of abusive use. Messages are stored and may be heard by the card holder, under the Privacy Policy.
To the extent permitted by law, McMinsky does not guarantee continuous availability of these features or the accuracy of the replies generated, and is not liable for decisions made on the basis of them. Nothing in this section excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, in particular towards consumers.
